Slumdog Millionaire

Recently I watched the movie “Slumdog Millionaire”,which has won a number of awards, including four Golden Globe Awards for Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Director - Motion Picture (Danny Boyle ), Best Screenplay (Simon Beaufoy) and Best Original Score (A. R.Rahman).This has been dubbed to Hindi too.This is based on the novel “ Q and A” by Indian author and diplomat Vikas Swarup.

Movie tells the story of a young man from the slums of Mumbai participating in a game show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”(Kaun Banega Crorepati)and winning there.The questions whatever has been asked on that show is related to his life,so he was able to give the answer and no doubt luck was in his favour .Love story and Comedy augmented sweetness in this movie, the sequence of questions and young man’s past life has been presented well………As a whole the movie is fantastic but……It’s quite imaginative ….10% of the movie is in “Hindi” as boy belongs to the Slum but he speaks English fluently later, which is not possible practically for a slum boy . Anyways Its a breathless, exciting story and I am sure you all will love it. Do not miss it.

One of the dialogues in that movie is : “You don’t have to be a genius to be successful” (said by the young man)…….. I liked that the most. Because it is true, to be successful its important to have the right attitude, at the right place, in the right time.

AIM

When ever we ask to a child about his AIM, he says… To be a Doctor or To be an Engineer or To be a Scientist n so on.....its good to focus on AIM from childhood which help us to get our success quite soon.

When i was in 6th standard one of my favorite teacher "Sukant Swain" said about IFS,IPS and IAS(IFS-Indian Foreign Service,IPS-Indian Police Service,IAS-Indian Administrative Service).Among these, work of IAS touched my heart and i had a wish to be an IAS officer,........still that wish is continuing......

Do you know about something called "Want Driven" and "Need Driven"........Want Driven is what we want to be and need driven is what the situation make us to be.For example one has wish to be a Doctor that is his/her want driven but not clicking in entrance and doing some other courses is need driven.I am doing my B-tech which is my need driven and want to be an IAS officer which is my want driven.

Everybody know"Nothing is Impossible and everything is Possible because Impossible itself say I M Possible".Saying and making something into actions are two different things,but we should not leave our work.So keep working,which will help you to get your want driven wish come true........

Crabetarian

what u think friends egg is a veg item or non veg item????hmmmmm............... I know u all are muttering as non veg item.........I take egg, but when some1 ask me"Whether i am a vegetarian or non vegetarian" i reply as vegetarian.I eat prawn too.......but i get less chance to take it.I dont find good prawn items in paralakhemundi.....so i never feel as non vegetarian .....

Recently we all ITians of 4th year went on an excursion to Bhairavi temple, Sonapur beach of Barhampur and the lake of chilika.....we enjoyed a lot there. Chilika is the largest brackish water lake in Asia,home to thousands of colorful birds, famous for Kalijai island and fishing....We reached Chilika at 3 pm and after returning from there we had to take our lunch on chilika dhaba(better to say evening snacks, as we took it at 5 pm in the evening)........

All of my friends were excited to take crabs and prawns on chilika dhaba....I was confused ...i have never took crabs in my life and i am fond of prawns.....i have already tasted prawns but not crabs and that too big one.... n main thing was i m not completely non vegetarian,so at last i decided to take crabs.
I had not known how to break a crab and eat ...but my friend Pragyan from puri was expert. I learned from her how to use my strong teeth to get flesh of crab,but with that trial i got a scratch on my gum and that was really painful...i didnt take more after that.i missed one leg of crab..so sad.....Anyways i experienced taking crabs with little pain and its really quite difficult to break a crab and eat its flesh....but its .....yammy......delicious......

From that day my friends are calling me as "crabetarian" .......
so i m now an eggitarian,prawnatarian and crabetarian still vegetarian.........

Dus Vidaniya to 2008

Dus Vidaniya to 2008 and Welcome to 2009.....

so, friends we are in 2009.we all celebrated new year.Is there any special things happen in the new year?do we feel new touch of air or does sun rise in new direction or any change in natural things happen which has not happened in the past year. Anyways,though we did not see any change we celebrate new year day as special day.some woke up early in the morning,went to temples,took some resolutions near God and tried to do as much good things they can do.
"Taking resolutions"..........hmmm....good..at least some think to do something, whether they
actually do that or not...M i rite friends??? kidding yaar.I know some are there who make resolution and convert that into action,i wish to be one among them.

For me the new year day was fantastic bcoz we had gettogether in our school.I met my old friends, from them some left the school when i was in standard 5th..so i enjoyed d day a lot.i hope you all have also enjoyed the day.

well...friends HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you n remember one thing :
